The international scientific conference “Gambling Disorder and Other Behavioural Addictions” is planned for 7–9 October 2026 in Warsaw, Poland. This will be the 13th edition of a conference series organised by the Res Humanae Foundation in cooperation with the National Centre for the Prevention of Addictions, dedicated to the presentation of scientific research on behavioural addictions.
The aim of the conference is to present the latest research findings on gambling disorder and other behavioural addictions, as well as to discuss how scientific knowledge can be applied in clinical practice, prevention programmes and the development of public policies in this field. The conference will also provide a platform for exchange of experiences and the establishment of cooperation between experts from different countries and disciplines.
The event is addressed to representatives of the academic and research community, as well as to professionals and institutions involved in addressing addictive behaviours. Around 120 participants are expected to attend the conference, including numerous international speakers – researchers and practitioners directly involved in research projects and prevention initiatives.
The conference programme will be prepared by the Scientific Committee on the basis of invited keynote speakers and the evaluation of submitted abstracts. Approximately 30 presentations are planned, including contributions from international speakers, as well as plenary sessions, parallel thematic sessions and expert meetings.
The conference will be held in Polish and English with simultaneous interpretation, and plenary sessions will also be streamed online.
